how we wears it.

Most of you probably already know this (hi mom, hi long distance fan) - but blouse is a two-lady operation. And Jane and I are always attempting to do a better job at photographing our own outfits for the blog -- but usually when we're together, I'm cramming Jane into blouse shoppe inventory for the next look book and for myself, well, it's rare to find me in something other than pajamas.

But - Jane does have her own wardrobe and sometimes I actually abandon the elastic, believe it or not. So, we thought it would be fun to start a little project where we share what we wear -- and, how each of wears it. Introducing -- the first edition of blouse wears: the jean jacket.

It's now officially spring -- the season of awkward temperatures, when getting dressed for the day means being prepared for anywhere between 40 and 80 degrees. Trust us, layers = important. And a perfect piece to keep in the closet is the always classic jean jacket.

Whether it's soft and faded, with elbows poking out through tattered holes or dark and crisp with the cuffs rolled, we love a jean jacket. I paired mine over a summery dress with still dark tights and Jane paired hers with a pair of summery floral vintage shorts.

Hi Ladies! I absolutely love this new feature (plus I was just thinking of taking out my jean jacket too)! You are both so stylish and cute, so I can't wait to see more of what you'll come up with! Love it! Ah, you're so awesome!

I like this new series, both of you photograph well! Cute idea of styling the same item, I recently thrifted a Levi's jean jacket I'm hoping to wear soon (sadly too cold to wear it here still).

Hi! I love these outfits. I first heard about you from Lulu Letty and went to your site right after you were featured. Unfortunately I'm a little chuby:) and I couldnt find anything on your site that fit (size 14 dresses and skirts) but I will totally keep looking!I just started following today! I'm a new blogger and need all the support to get some new followers! If you could follow back that would be cooler than wooden platforms!
