One day, when blouse has its very own dress line for the shoppe and Jane + I are holed up in an adorable loft studio with an exposed brick wall, her sewing and me taking a quick cat nap on a pile of fabric, we'll remember this day -- me, photographing Jane sitting at her kitchen table sewing away on her Hello Kitty seafoam green sewing machine.
She's making the most adorable summer time dress -- white + teal skinny stripes going every which way. She's put the thing together - but it's time for the *play dreaded duh-duh-duuuh music here* zipper. (psst - hey mom, in case you're in the mood for a 17 hour road trip - Jane and I would love the in person help with the zipper.)

Do the zip by hand! It's the only way to avoid tears. I can't wait to see it finished, it looks super cute :)

i have that same sewing machine! it's just 100% cutestness. even the box it came in was cute... so cute i dorkishly saved it!
