the science museum.

Me and the lady friend went on a date yesterday to the big city. We spent the afternoon playing at the Museum of Science and having a nice lunch at the cafeteria. (fyi: I love cafeteria food.)

Our public library has discounted tickets to museums in the area ... a $21 ticket cost us $5 with my library pass. You should see if your library rocks and does such a thing. I know I'm about to go Midwestern Middle Aged Mom on you ... but when did museums get so pricey? I can't imagine being a family of four and paying SO much money for a day of learning and fun. And then, there's the parking and the lunch and the locker rental ... I'm 50 years old. And cheap frugal. If you're looking to take some of your extra cash and make a charitable donation ... you might want to consider buying a yearly pass to a museum and donating to a community center (or a library!) for them to loan all out to friendly families looking some indoor fun.
