nice 'n clean.

Here at blouse, we're getting the whole renegade blouse shoot down pat. While we do okay with those planned photo shoots, with the lighting and the makeup artist and the such -- I feel like we truly thrive when we rush into a location with no warning we're coming, and then slightly take it over, working around confused customers who are trying to fold their weekly laundry while we shove a model into a laundry basket and rush around getting the perfect angle of her, shoved in the basket.

Yesterday afternoon - we spent a fun hour at a little laundromat here in town. We've found a new everyday girl model (say hi to Heather!) and Shara came back for her second blouse shoot (say hi again Shara!)

I loved the way this shoot turned out ... the ladies, absolutely lovely in their 50s, 70s, and 80s vintage frocks. In fact, I was so excited I spent my entire Sunday night working on the photos ... instead of doing my own laundry, which is kind of ironic.

Fun photos & lovely frocks. I'm going to try to do a shoot in a 1950s laundromat that has all aqua washers & dryers. Haven't worked up the nerve to go yet though-- you're brave to 'take over' the laundromat for your shoot.
